Tara has been an ongoing student of yoga and yogic life.
She has continued her practice with the International
Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Centre (as taught by Swami Vishnu
Devananda), Barbara Benagh (Classical Hatha Yoga) of the
Yoga Studio, Arthur Kilmurray (Inyengar Yoga)of Mystic
River Yoga and Tias Little (A synthesis of Iyengar and
Asthanga yoga systems) of Yoga Source.
Tara has been studying Sivananda Yoga since the early
90’s and has been teaching Sivananda Yoga since
1997.
Tara helped establish the Baptiste Yoga
Studio of Cambridge, Ma. in 1999, assisted Baron Baptiste
with his classes, assisted Baron at the Yoga Journal Conference
in Lenox, Ma. (2000) and assisted him at two Yoga retreats
that he led in Maya Talum in Mexico, 1999 &2000) She
also taught Baptiste Power Yoga for one year in Cambridge.
Tara has taught adult Hatha Yoga classes
for Barbara Benagh, at the Yoga Sudio since the year 2000.
Tara taught adult Hatha Yoga classes
for Arthur Kilmurray, at Mystic River Yoga for 3 years.
Tara assisted Tias Little at the Boston
Yoga Journal Conference in April, 2006.
With the inspiration of these teachers,
authentic movement and improvisational dance, she continues
to explore the depths of human spiritual anatomy and its
innate relationship to the practice through personal inquiry
and experiential learning.
